Sometimes it can be scary purchasing clothing online. The best way to ensure you are happy with your products are to make sure that you know your measurements, regardless of which company and brand you purchase from as all brands seem to differ a bit.
So, we have provided you with a basic guide on how to measure yourself and your child.
You will need a measuring tape--if you don't have a flimsy fabric one you can use a piece of string and lay it alongside a regular tape measure when you are finished.
Bust : Lift your arms up your sides and measure around your body, crossing over the fullest part of your chest.

Hats: Measure the circumference of your head from ear to ear.
Hips: Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the cuff.
Rise: Measure from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband.
Skirt Length: Measure from your waist to wherever you would like it to end.
Sleeves: With your hand on your hip with your arm bent at 90 degrees , measure from your neck, across the shoulder, and down your arm to the wrist.
Top Length: Measure from your shoulder to your waist.
Waist: Measure around your waistline at the level where you normally wear your pants. Keep a finger between your body and the measuring tape for an accurate fit. For low-rise pants, measure a little bit lower than your natural waist.
